An 18-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in Brooklyn early Sunday that left four others injured and an 18-year-old driver facing possible criminal charges, according to cops.
The young woman was sitting in the rear passenger seat of a 2015 Hyundai Sonata operated by an 18-year-old man when the vehicle collided with a 2007 Toyota Solara at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Rogers Avenue in Crown Heights around 2 a.m., police said.
Photos show that one of the vehicles was completely decimated in the crash.


EMS responded and removed two 19-year-old male passengers, who are in stable condition.
The 18-year-old female and the 18-year-old operator were taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, where the female was pronounced dead.
The 61-year-old who was operating the Toyota was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.



The 18-year-old male operator of the Hyundai has been taken into custody and charges are pending.
The NYPD’s Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad is investigating.
The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
