PEACHTREE CITY — Peachtree City police are searching for a group of people who entered 30 cars in the early morning hours Thursday.
Police say the suspects entered 30 cars that were all unlocked at residences in the southern Peachtree City neighborhoods Wilshire Estates and The Gates.
Fayette County has also reported several related incidents.

Throughout the night, two cars were stolen: one in Peachtree City and another in Fayette County. Both cars were unlocked with the keys inside.
Both stolen cars were recovered in DeKalb County. The car stolen in Peachtree City was located before the owners woke up.
Officers say that the thieves were able to steal tablets, handguns, cash, wallets, purses, ammunition, medication and other property. Some of the property was recovered.
Police say that at least one of the suspects was armed.
No arrests have been made in connection to these cases.

Police are reminding everyone to be sure to remove valuables from your car at night and make sure it is locked.
