If you want to help build cars in Huntsville, there are about 2,000 opportunities available.
Mazda Toyota Manufacturing will hold a job fair Feb. 19 along with its partner companies, some of which operate on the MTM campus on the west end of Huntsville. Altogether, MTM said there are about 2,000 jobs the companies are seeking to fill.

The jobs will play a part in the production of Toyota’s Corolla Cross and Mazda’s CX-50 at the MTM facility.
“Every position at every Team ONE company plays a role in the production of the Corolla Cross and CX-50,” Katherine Evans, HR OSP Specialist and Team ONE coordinator at MTM, said in the job fair announcement. “There are roughly 2,000 open positions within Team ONE, all of which provide the opportunity to be part of the exciting future of manufacturing.”
MTM said there are about 1,200 positions to be filled at its facility as well as about 800 positions at its partner companies in north Alabama. There are positions available for all skill levels, including those with no manufacturing experience. Wages, benefits, and shift offerings will vary by company.
MTM recently increased their starting hourly wages to $18.35 an hour and top rates to $25.00 an hour for production team members. For skilled team members, starting wages rose to $25.64 an hour and top wages to $36.00 an hour.
MTM also announced in December it was offering $3,000 sign-on bonuses for new employees.
The job fair will be Feb. 19 from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at the Huntsville Marriott at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Job applications can also be submitted at mazdatoyota.com.
